This was a wonderful holiday home. Plenty of space for a large family and the open plan ground floor with kitchen, dining area and living room was amazing! The double doors to the patio were great and really nice patio furniture. The views were amazing and in July the lime tree at the back of the house smelled wonderful - a bit like honeysuckle but not as sickly sweet. The owners live close by and were very friendly and helpful. Nice little extras like games in the big chest in the living room were much appreciated. Lots of woodland walks right on the doorstep and this house is within easy reach of Edinburgh and many attractions in Fife. Would be happy to stay again.

Great cottage in a beautiful location, but only 10 mins from Dunfermline. Shop 5 mins away and only 30 mins to hills or beaches. Friendly welcome, but left to our own devices. Loads of space for kids to run riot and ample parking. Lovely log burner with free wood provided. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage and amply equiped (apart from a good tin opener). Very clean and comfortable. Absolutely what we were looking for as accommodation for our week in Scotland. The owner was welcoming and not intrusive, and there was a lovely field to walk your dog in the mornings. It would have been nice to find a pint of milk or some tea bags to welcome us, when arrving late after a very long drive. We had no provisions and were very tired, but had to turn around and head out to find a late opening supermarket.
