Our second stay in this delightful cottage was a lovely break away from our busy lives. The cottage is situated in a peaceful location yet very close to our favourite cafe - Rhubarb. I would highly recommend this cottage to those of you looking for peace and quiet in lovely surroundings. The view from the garden and the bedrooms is amazing.

A great cottage tucked away in the center of Crieff. We had a wonderful stay and being in January it was nice to be able to enjoy a cosy evening with a real fire.

Don't be put off by previous reviews! We had a wonderful holiday in Lilac Cottage. The beds are very good and the sofas are the comfiest ever - perfect for snuggling up on to read a book. The kitchen is very well equipped. Overall I felt the cottage was bigger than the photos made it look, all the windows have been replaced and the cottage was lovely and warm! Getting parked was OK. It's just when you initially arrive and have lots of stuff to take to the house that it's a bit of a pain not to be able to park right outside the house (although on-street parking was occasionally available on the street but I just wasn't sure that my handbrake would hold on the hill!). A welcome pack would have been the icing on the cake, as most cottages do leave you a little something, but this one didn't.

We had a lovely time exploring the local scenery on day trips from our base at Lilac cottage in Crieff. The cottage was well equipped and spacious on the ground floor. Only problems were lack of headroom on the first floor and poor condition of the external woodwork, particularly the window frames. The cottage needs a fair bit of TLC!!

Charming period cottage. As in previous reviews could do some TLC in regards to decoration but nothing to spoil your stay. Beautiful gardens which are a delight to sit in. Fully equipped. Lovely view over Crieff skyline and hills beyond.
