We had a lovely holiday here. We spent most of the time in the sunroom as it had views and was light and airy. It would be even nicer with a little heater in there. The welcome pack is a nice extra. The kitchen is well equipped but a few extra settings of crockery and cutlery wouldn't go amiss as you tend to use more when you have a dishwasher.

Most uncomfortable matresses on the beds. Springs inside mattresses have had their lives, and do not give restful and relaxing comfort. Most floor boards on bedroom floor creaks disturbing sleeping members during night time.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner:- We are very sorry to hear that the mattresses were not to your liking. Thank you for letting us know. Previous guests have commented particularly on the comfort of the beds, so this has come as a surprise and is very disappointing. We will be definitely checking the mattresses to see if they need replacing.

Enjoyed our stay, although cold weather plenty of warmth to return to after a day out. No wifi and phone signal.....absolute bliss! Beautiful unspoilt scenery. The cottage was delightful, comfortable , happy to return again.
