Excellent lodge for our young family and woke up to wonderful views over breakfast. Lodge had everything we needed and is well equipped to entertain larger groups for dinner. Owners were very helpful and attentive and offered information for local country walks to Rye. Working farm kept the kids interested and plenty of room indoors for kids to play when the weather was bad. Exactly what we needed for a short break away from London.

Gorgeous cottage - I could easily Live there! Friendly owners, lovy Views and great pub Up the road for food. It's a five minute drive from rye. I would Definately stay again for Longer as there is so much to do in the area. It did work out quite expensive for a weekend considering you arrive 3pm Friday and leave 10am Sunday.

Lovely cottage in a lovely setting. The cottage was equipped with everything that you would need - a real home from home. The owner was very welcoming and if you needed her for anything she was contactable and responded quickly other than this she left you to enjoy your stay. It was very relaxing (the weather was great which helped) and the views from the rear of the cottage were wonderful. I would say that there is lots to see in the surrounding area but of course you would need a car.
