Set on a hill in beautiful countryside and surrounded by olive groves stands this attractive little cottage. Simply and traditionally furnished, it has the added advantage of a private, above ground swimming pool. Tucked away in a secluded garden and just a few minutes outside the elegant town of Montecatini with some splendid shops, restaurants, and a thermal spa. Further up the hill is tiny Montecatini Alto 2km, the perfect place for a pre-dinner drink before trying one of the restaurants in the enchanting square. An unusual and charming way of reaching the village is to take the cable car that runs up the hill from the town below. Florence, Pisa, Lucca and the coastal villages of the Cinque Terre are all within easy reach, while further inland, the villages of the wooded mountainous regions are wonderful to explore.
