A fabulous short break at Lawn Lodge, would most definitely stay there again and again but sadly hear its being sold. It's in a perfect location to explore the New Forest either on foot from the front doorstep or taking a drive through the beautiful countryside to the coast discovering pretty towns and villages along the way.

For six adults it was to cramped, the conservatory when the meal table was pulled out there was no room to pass, there should be two bathrooms, not one and another toilet, the bathroom fan could not cope and the walls and floor were soaked

Enjoyed our stay very much and great to be able to use the hotel facilities. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and hanging space for clothes only in master bedroom. Overall a great stay and we would be happy to go back.

A very attractive bungalow, beautifully presented and generally well-equipped. We always choose properties that have a secure enclosed garden so our dog can also enjoy some freedom on her holiday and we were blessed with perfect weather which meant we could make the most of the garden every day. The location is delightful with everything to hand and great walks within a few steps of the front door; my husband used the hotel pool every day. We ate at the hotel twice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The reason we gave a score of 8 instead of 10 for comfort and equipment was that the beds were hard/too firm and we found it rather strange that there was only one wardrobe for the three bedrooms. There was plenty of drawer space though. All in all, a very positive experience.

Stayed here with my wife and Son and Daughter in Law. The cottage itself is very spacious, well equipped and clean. Having the use of the hotel facilities is just the icing on the cake. The staff in the hotel are fantastic. Charming, courteous and friendly. All in all a great location for a holiday.

A great family holiday. The cottage was 5 star, well equipped and a great location (only used the car once)The use of the hotel facilities were second to none. The only small negative was the apple tree which attracted wasps, we had to keep an eye out whilst the grand children were out playing in the garden. Other than that we would highly recommend lawn lodge to anyone looking for relaxing holiday in fantastic surroundings. Will return in the near future

Unfortunately we chose a very wet week. The bungalow made us feel so much more fortunate than nearby campers! Our only wish is that there had been a window in the bathroom which was kept very busy with 5 humans using it. It would not be difficult to install.

I booked Lawn Lodge for a holiday with my brother, son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, aged two and four months respectively, plus their dog. We absolutely loved the bungalow, particularly the garden and it was so good to be able to use the hotel swimming pool whenever we wanted to. The property seems to have been renovated recently so there were a few things missing (no hooks on the back of the bathroom door etc.) and the second bedroom doesn't have a wardrobe which is really difficult, particularly as it has a double bed so is designed for adults. We didn't realise until half way through the week that the dog wasn't supposed to go on the carpeted areas (we don't allow him on furniture) so that was quite difficult trying to keep him out of the living room. There are no extra mats at the front or places to put walking boots if you've been for a muddy walk with the dog. We had taken extra towels to put down to stop mud getting walked through the bungalow. We did have an inspection visit whilst we were there so mentioned all of these things to the ladies who were inspecting the property. I think a retired person must have lived there before, as the rubbish bin is a small size one; this needs to be replaced with a full size one and for more detailed instructions to be left about bin collection day, recycling etc. All in all we loved the bungalow and I, for one, would love to live there permanently! One further comment - the hotel staff were extremely helpful and provided us with an extra travel cot, extra towels etc.
