Lovely cottage with plenty of room for 3 adults. Buckfastleigh is a delightful village, friendly locals, nice pubs and all the shops you need. Lavender Cottage has all the mod cons you need. The beds are comfortable, the wi-fi worked fine and the kitchen was well equiped. We are already planning to go back next year.

5th time great cottage, friendly village, good access to shops, near to Totnes, the moors, fabulous autumn colours and great weather. in November.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lavender Cottage, it had everything we needed it was spotlessly clean well furnished and very comfortable. The only problem is I thought the heating was supposed to come on at 7.30am and it never seemed to , being October there was a bit of a chill in the air some mornings however when the heating was put on the cottage soon warmed up otherwise it was just like home from home, we were very pleased.

This is not the first time I have stayed in Lavender Cottage, always lovely but a little expensive for me. It is the local area that causes me the problem. Buckfastleigh is one of the most miserable places I have ever been and despite the lovely cottage I wont be going again.

A clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. We were very impressed that the owners provided a parking permit so that we could use the car parks in Buckfastleigh free of charge.

Lovely cottage, comfy bed! Well equipped, although some of the cooking equipment could do with an update - for example a large saucepan with a loose handle, an oven that didn't seem to get to temperature (door seal?) and wasn't level.

We have stayed here before and would be happy to come again. We appreciate it being dog-friendly and we notice that over time things are replaced and improved. Happy to recommend it.

A beautiful three level cottage that was clean, well equipped and centrally located in a cute village, close to all services and the local pub. The cottage easily accommodated 2 couples and was a great place to spread out for a couple of nights. Close to the beautiful Buckfast Abbey - we had a lovely stay at Lavendar Cottage.

Surprisingly spacious for a two bed cottage, no shower cubicle upstairs. Very well equipped would suggest a coffee table in the lounge.

Was seeking escape with home comforts along with peace, quiet and surrounded by friendly people. Found it and will return to same cottage and town. Always use public transport this didn't cause any problems while there either.

A super cottage, tastefully decorated and furnished, in a convenient location to explore Dartmoor. Our children loved their cosy bedroom and games room downstairs. Very clean, no hint of dogginess!!!
