The cottage and situation were perfect. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We had wonderful weather, so enjoyed the courtyard. We enjoy walking and were pleased to be able to walk up the lane to the woodland and on to the New Forest. The cottage was well placed to visit the coast and Beaulieu, Buckler's Hard and Exbury gardens.

We had a very friendly reception from the owner on site and the cottage was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Location made visiting places in the area very easy, especially using trains from the nearby station.

Laurel Cottage is a beautifully presented comfortable and homely place to stay while enjoying the area around the New Forest and the coast. Only short drives are needed to access places such as Christchurch, Lymington, Milford-on Sea, Barton-on Sea and the walks along the cliff top there are most enjoyable. We have just returned from a second stay at Laurel Cottage and hope to return soon.

Really enjoyed our stay. The ownerswere very friendly and welcoming. The cottage and amenities were first class, everywhere was spotless inside and out of the cottage! The New Forest is just on the doorstep as are many other areas of interest. We would certainly use Laurel Cottage again.

Superb accommodation. Laurel Cottage has everything you need. Very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. If there is anything that you have forgotten, there is a local shop that sells most things within walking distance. Also a train station is nearby, so no need for a car. If, like me, you are a walker then the New Forest is on your doorstep. Excellent walking paths all around. This is my second stay at Laurel Cottage and am planning to go back next year. Cannot wait!

Both my wife and I were thrilled to bits when we arrived at the cottage. There is really nothing to find fault with.It is a first class cottage and is a credit to the owners who obviously work hard to keep it to such a high standard. We had a really enjoyable week there and look forward to going back.

Lovely cottage, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Quiet area but an easy walk to the village and it's amenities. Also close to the forest if you enjoy a walk. Easy to drive to the coast and an interesting nature reserve near by. We really enjoyed our holiday.

A beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean cottage in a superb, tranquil area. We have visited twice and would have no hesitation in going again and recommending it to our friends and family.
