No surprises, all was as specified in the notes. We had 2 small dogs and two 'pre-teens' and had no issues. Warm and homely. Stairs were on the steep side as advertised. Parking could be a problem. Thought the pub proximity might be noisy but it ain't, in fact it's a great escape and the scallops are to die for. Great base for trips out. Everywhere is so dog friendly that if you don't have one you may need hire one.

Great location with the cliff walks being only minutes from the front door. A friendly pub even nearter. The cottage was basic but sufficient for our needs with the exception of no WI-FI this was a problem that should definitely be resolved. The garden was lovely with views of the sea. The weather was superb every day without a cloud in the sky which obviously helped. In fact it was remarkable for the last week in September even sun bathing in the garden on the 1st October. If you like walking and stunning views and not to precious about your luxuries we would not hesitate to recommend Lark Rise.

This was a lovely little cottage in a geat setting, and we would certainly think about using it again. There was no dishwasher, which was a minus point and a barbecue would have been handy. The owners were very unobtrusive and didn't bother us-this was a major plus. The generl decor could do with upgrading, but bedsheets etc were pristine clean and chaned each week. In the modern day, access to wifi would be handy too-we had to go across to the pub.

I would rate this place as OK, just about. Not once did we get to park outside, even though our stay was well out of season. The place was fairly dingy and smelled of damp and dogs, also the equipment was of a poor quality. The bedroom is a garish gloss pink and the ornaments cheap and tacky. We stay in quite a few cottages and everyone seems to have made a better effort than this (in some cases for less money) We were glad to be on holiday and enjoyed our break just the same, and the garden is lovely. Also theres a quirky staircase which was fun

Very small property with very little room, settee was very small, there was 3 of us and couldn't all sit down, kitchen was dirty, place needs some decorating, stayed for one night and went somewhere else, would never stay again. We have been to many cottages and have never felt the need to move to another one, this by far was the worse
