Forming part of a hamlet next to the Tewitfield Locks on the Lancaster canal these holiday homes have been carefully furnished throughout to provide guests with every comfort. With easy access to the motorway they make an excellent base from which to explore both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, together with the seaside town of Morecambe and the historic city of Lancaster close by. Alternatively the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is just 7 miles and offers a wealth of individual shops, pubs and restaurants. Nearby are golf, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, with walking available direct from the door. Shop and pub 500 yards. Accommodation will be allocated on arrival (layouts may vary).

    This was exactly what we wanted for our holiday. We loved the place. We enjoyed being on the marina - our two elderly parents could not entirely resist giving just a few crumbs to the ducks - but we were restrained! It is important people know the proximity to the motorway - we weren't bothered by noise but you can hear it outside. For us it was useful to be so close by to get places quickly. We had delicious food in the nearby Longlands pub and bought farm product from across the road. We walked for miles on the tow paths and admired the old lock system. We went for day trips to the Lake District and into the Yorkshire Dales and also visited Kendal, Lancaster and Morecambe bay. The ground staff were wonderful and anxious to attend to anything we might need. Thank you.
