This cosy cottage with wood burner and horse stabling is perfect for families looking to explore Langrigg, and the nearby towns of Cockermouth and Keswick.

Just outside the small hamlet of Langrigg sits this comfortable property with generous sized bedrooms, a large kitchen/dining room and a very cosy living room with a roaring wood burner to snuggle in front of on winter evenings. Just 6 miles from the popular seaside village of Allonby, there is easy access to amazing beaches for walking and horse riding. There is a nature reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest at Mawbray Banks, with rare natterjack toads and great crest newts. The northern Lakes and fells can be easily explored from here, including the beautiful Crummock Water, Buttermere and Loweswater lakes, you will be surrounded by stunning scenery wherever you go. The market town of Cockermouth, and the ever popular and bustling town of Keswick, are both about a 20-minute drive away and are both definitely worth a visit. Nearby Calbeck Common is also great for walking and horse riding, and guests are welcome to bring their horse on holiday as stabling, grazing and a sand arena are available on site. Beach 6 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1¼ miles.
