we had an unforgetable stay in Langford cottage. The children imediately explored the house and pointed out the wall cabinets as the best place to hide. All of us were impressed about the detailled interieur and the spirit of this house. Everything was just perfect and next time we'll come to UK for holiday we'll book this cottage again .... and again ... and again... I already looked up for another stay this year but it seems we weren't the only ones who liked this cottage.

Although the cottage decor was a little chintzy for my taste I was pleased at how spacious yet cosy it was. It was also well equipped. I had been concerned when booking that it was on a busy street but the double glazing meant that I was scarcely aware of the traffic outside. Its location did mean parking was a little - but only a little - inconvenient. (I decided against using the garage round the corner but not because it was narrow - I saw an estate car happily lodged in there as I was leaving.) The advantage of the cottage's High Street location is that it is only a couple of minutes away from the sea in one direction and the duck pond and church (with the fantastic Burne Jones windows) in the other. The supermarkets and the lovely pub,The Victoria Arms, are also just a couple of minutes away. The gas fire in the front room of the cottage was very cosy on rainy and windy winter's evenings. A glitch in the wifi was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the friendly owner. Rottingdean is the perfect location to head either for the wild beauty of Cuckmere Haven, the Birding Gap and the Seven Sisters almost immediately to the east or the exuberant fleshpots of Brighton five minutes down the road to the west. Highly recommended.
