We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is beautiful and well furnished. The owner Jon was so kind he let our 4 year old daughter go to see the lambs and feed them as it was lambing season when we went. They have stables to the rear so horses regularly pass by. The propert is of a very high standard and we would definetly recommend this.

We had a great time at the cottage, which we found to be comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen in particular was good. The bathrooms were a little dated. We did have a small issue with the open fire, which we were able to resolve ourselves. Plenty of logs were available. Bedding was clean and the beds comfortable. We did discover pants and sock left by previous visitors in a drawer!! The site is very quiet, some minutes drive from local shops, but only a short distance from the coast. A short drive to Plymouth. Internet access was fairly slow but then patience is a virtue.! We would definitely stay again and hopefully have better weather next time.

Great home with new kitchen. Spacious and comfortable. Right in the countryside and next to the coast which was ideal for my dog to explore. The host was exceptionally helpful and permitted me to access fields to reach the sea to walk my dog. Only wished we could have stayed longer!

An ideal holiday for a family of five. Located close to Plymouth and with easy walking access to Wembury Bay (beach, rock pools and good surf for body board) and a short drive from Dartmoor. The location offers good walking opportunities especially along the South Coast Way. The property is well equipped with cooking equipment and utensils, washing and drying facilities and good speed wifi. The owner provided a short tour of the area on arrival which was very useful and convenient otherwise they were not intrusive at all. There are several local pubs which offer reasonably priced and high standard food and drink particularly the "Odd Wheel" in Wembury village. I would happily return to this cottage.

The owners could not have been more welcoming. All our needs were well catered for and the cottage was clean and well equipped. A quiet neighbourhood with views and privacy. Excellent cottage for dog owners with garden and conservatory . You can walk up a path straight from your door, which makes life much easier. Plenty of lovely sea and country walks in the area; best of all the kind owner took us on a tour in his car to show us a private route across his farmland to the sea and beach. He also recommended places to eat and visit in the neighbourhood. We shall be back if we decide to visit this part of Devon again.

The owner made us very welcome. On arrival he gave us a tour of the area pointing out suitable walks and eateries. This information was very useful and contributed to what was a most enjoyable break. Plenty of walks with stunning sea views. The only drawback is the narrow roads.
