We have stayed in many large properties and unfortunately this was the least enjoyable. The fireplace is not a log fire but an electric on/off thing with a fan. There is no heating in the kitchen which makes this part of the house cold and the lights in the kitchen are particularly unfriendly if we want to go that far! The bedrooms were fine and well presented very clean. I just don’t think the expectations met with reality based on the photos seen online

We booked this cottage for a family weekend away and it far exceeded our expectations! The house was very spacious, oozing character and charm from every nook. The dining room was beautifully laid out for our arrival and although shelves and display cases were crammed full of figurines, glasses and beautiful nick nacks, it was spotlessly clean. The views were just magnificent and the hosts were very welcoming and amenable. Thank you so very much!

Lovely situation and nice and close to the Ship Inn for a meal (which was lovely). The steam train running just behind the house, up the bank and through the trees was just like the coco-cola advert, especially as it got dusk - magic! We had hope to take the train into Bridgnorth, but for a short journey it was quite expensive, which was disappointing. A most enjoyable weekend.

Lovely cottage, lots of character, very well equipped, ideal for our party of 8 adults, beautiful location- helped by the fact that we had great early Autumn weather. Enjoyed the games room and different seating areas, loved the big dining table- great for our mega evening meals!

We had a fabulous time with a large family celebration. The accommodation was superb and ideal for large groups looking to get away from it all, relax and enjoy family time together

I would highly recommend Ladymoor. It is a beautiful cottage situated perfectly between the river and the steam railway. We took the train to Bridgenorth. The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. Thank you to the owners who made us so welcome, allowing us in earlier than planned to put up balloons for a surprise family birthday weekend. The area is excellent for fishing. We caught a 7lb pike!! There were 13 of us in our family group ranging from 7months to 76 yrs everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and we all want to come back. Thank you Jane

Ladymoor is a beautiful large family cottage set in a rural and private location away from other dwellings. Being situated right next to the river Seven and with a large garden, it meant that great views and calm surroundings allowed for an enjoyable holiday. However I would point out that the historical leisure Trainline does run directly behind the cottage meaning trains can be heard throughout the day. This was fine for use and we enjoyed it but may not be to everyone's taste. The cottage was of ample size for our party of 10 adults 4 children and 2 babies, with room to spare. Great period features and comfortable furniture on the whole. The only down side was that the master bedroom mattress could do with replacing, as it completely lost its spring/support and was very creaky. Some of the flooring through the cottage could also do with replacing as there were gaps and severe wear in the laminate. On the whole a great property and I would very much stay there again.
