Lovely weekend away with groups of friends. Was a full house but didn't feel crowded, with lots to do locally .

We had a fantastic weekend at Ladymoor. We'd heard stories about a tearoom next door that invaded privacy, but there didn't seem to be anything there at all (maybe it never got going). The living room area is a great size and easily fitted all 12 of us in. There was a giant TV with Sky sports and sky movies included, and the log fire was a great addition. The pool room had a proper ex-pub table in it which is free to use and great entertainment. Our hosts were very welcoming and then left us to it for the weekend. The village is only a mile away and has shops and takeaways, plus a couple of pubs and the steam locomotive railway station of Highley. I think that what prevents a 'ten out of ten' is that not the fault of Ladymoor or the owners; we just found that it was quite out of the way and even by car it is quite a long way from the main roads (although not hilly and easy to access.) We also had friend who came by train and their taxi from Kidderminster was pricey to say the least. Overall, though, this is great value with cosy accommodation and a quiet place for a relaxing weekend.
