We stayed at La Source in late July, 2015. Our hosts were charming, generous and helpful and they bake brilliant cakes for their guests. The accommodation is comfortable and offers excellent value for money. There is good wi-fi and tv with English channels. Reipertswiller is a pleasant village with a striking church and extensive walks through the hills and forests around. There is a bakery opposite the house, but no shops, so you have to go to Ingwiller for a supermarket and petrol. I would recommend a visit up to the nearby Lichtenberg Chateau to help you understand the area. You can visit Strasburg, Colmar and the beautiful villages along the wine route in the southern Vosges but there is a lot of driving involved from Reiperswiller, which is one disadvantage of the location. If you feel up to the driving, you can venture into Germany and visit Baden Baden, Freiburg and even Heidelburg. All in all, a great value stay in a quieter corner of France.

Was much better than expected, especially for the price. The considerable cash deposit for "leaving the place clean and tidy" was a bit of a surprise. For such a small place it was very noisy at night (although was the week of the fun fair for few nights and was very hot so windows open.) The positive of being opposite a bakery was fresh bread for breakfast, the negative was that work started there early morning and the entirety of Alsace turned up at 6.30am to park, buy and chat! Overall a great place to visit, and the complementary cakes and wine were very welcome.
