La Petellierie is situated in a rural location, and has two properties on site, one a 17th century stone farmhouse and the other a converted barn which have been divided into four holiday properties. The site boasts a superb indoor heated swimming pool (10m x 4m, depth 1m - 1.6m, open mid-May to mid-Sep) as well as a large enclosed shared garden with games area, pool table, badminton and table tennis.
The properties are ideally suited for exploring the surrounding area which include the D Day landing sites, Mont St Michel and Bayeux. Within half an hour’s drive is the historic cathedral town of Coutances and the sandy beaches of Montmartin-Sur-Mer.
A little further down the coast is the lively seaside resort of Granville with restaurants, shops, casino and ferries over to the nearby islands of Jersey and Guernsey.
Shop, café/bar and restaurant 2km, beach 35km.
Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner. First floor: Bathroom with toilet and basin, 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 plus single bed, 1 single.
Woodburner in lounge, cot, colour satellite TV, DVD player, wi-fi in games room, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, shared enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 3 cars. Sorry, no pets. No smoking please. NB: Unfenced moat in grounds.
