The Seine-Maritime is home to some of Normandy’s most historic centres, and to some less well known delights such as the seaside village of Veules-les-Roses, only a short drive from Houdetot. Perhaps the region’s most prestigious landmark is Rouen with its Cathedrale Notre-Dame, the subject of many of Monet’s paintings.
