Fantastic little place, local garage has the best ice cream in the world! Loved the pigs and other animals. I especially liked shrek that you scrub his head then his side and he just falls over for his belly to be stroked and just instantly falls asleep! Gardens are beautiful, and loved walking round the woods with the Mrs and the kids. Recommend it to anyone tenfold.

Great cottage in a lovely setting with the added attraction of micro pigs and little goats as the bottom of the garden. A perfect escape.

A lovely relaxing holiday was had by all. The cottage was clean, comfortable and was very well equipped. Set in glorious countryside yet short drives to places of interest and quaint villages. The owners were genuinely friendly people and very accommodating. A visit to Pauline's studio was a treat, we could not keep away. Our granddaughter Poppy loved the pigs and goats and spent a fortune on pink lady apples to give them as treats even though we shouldn't feed them but Shrek (the pig) was not complaining neither did Fiona and Donkey. another week would have been great.

An absolutely wonderful cottage in a very peaceful part of the country. It had everything we needed and was great value for money, especially over half-term. Wi-fi would have been useful, but I gather that the rural location made that problematic. The big plus for our youngest was the animals at the end of the garden; she just loved stroking Shrek the pig and watching the goats and hens. We didn't use the hot tub, but the reports on it seemed very positive and the owner ran a lovely craft studio as well. All in all we had a great week and would recommend Knoll cottage to others who value a peaceful and beautiful location.

Absolutely lovely cottage. Had a great stay and excellent value for money. The owners are wonderful and on hand (including even phone charger disasters!) for any queries/issues. We all had an absolutely brilliant time in a lovely part of the world. Highly recommended.

Knoll Cottage was a last minute booking for us and was a complete find! The cottage is very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The clean and roomy hot tub is well covered in a small out building of its own (handy for a chilly november night!). In the summer the cottage would be great as it has a nice garden, conservatory and patio with BBQ. Kids would love the animals at the bottom of the garden, especially Shrek the pig who likes a good scratch behind the ears! Its in a great location for walking and has several good pubs just a short drive away. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Paulines craft studio in the beautifuly kept gardens was a real treat to browse and we all bought several Christmas presents before leaving!

Lovely cottage in a nice area although a little remote from shops if that's important. Very helpful and friendly owner. Large garden with a small wood and basic treehouse which the kids loved. They also liked the pigs & goats but really liked the hot tub - a real bonus. Would have been nice to have had WiFi but not really important.

Knoll cottage is a lovely well maintained and equipped cottage. We were given a very warm welcome and shown around by the owner, after we arrived late. The grounds are very good, with a big grassed area, wooded area, BBQ and the micro farm is great for kids. The location is good for walks and site seeing
