A beautiful house, that is well equipped. Knipe Hall is an old house with beautiful rooms, exposed beams and brickwork. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with an Aga and a conventional oven. There is a small fridge and a larger fridge and freezer in the attached store room. As an older property it does have some issues with sloping floors which means some of the beds are slope slightly too. It is advertised as a six bedroom property with all of the bedrooms on the first floor. This is not correct. One bedroom is off the sitting room and has part of the central heating system in the fire surround making it very noisy and unless you are a very sound sleeper difficult to sleep in. The grounds and the hot tub are great and the hosts very helpful. There is no washing machine but the owners did offer to do any washing for us as they have a barn complete with industrial size washing machine and dryer.
