What a wonderful cottage and what wonderful hosts! I stayed here with 3 small children (all under 5) and there were plenty of things to enjoy in the local area, not least the goats and pigs at the bottom of the garden! We had everything we needed and Pauline was extremely helpful. The only (minor) issue was the lack of wifi but other than that we could not have asked for more. I would certainly recommend this accommodation to other people.

A lovely, comfortable home to stay in! Everything you need is in the house and the open plan kitchen and front room is a great social area. Thank you!

For a weekend break the cottage was ok. Would not stay here for longer. Lacking attention to detail that makes a stay great and memorable or disappointing and mediocre. The cottage needs a spring clean. Cobwebs lurking in many corners and even found them in the oven! In the kitchen glasses all of a mix and match and not good quality. Disappointing when we were there to celebrate a special birthday. Good wine in cheap glasses. No flutes to drink from to make our toast. Please....this all makes a big difference. The garden patio area needs attention. No attempt made to clear the mass of dead grasses where once presumably a flower bed grew! Not attractive to sit there. The garden furniture was old and the parasol of a cheap plastic material. The large mown lawn was lovely esp under the trees giving welcome shade from the exposed heat of the unsheltered patio area. Overall, the whole cottage needs to be overhauled, freshened up and re equipped with better quality fixtures and fittings. Location was what made the cottage. Beautiful setting

Beautiful garden and the pigs and goats were brilliant for our children. Extremely quiet, we all slept very well. The cottage was well equipped. Only slight issue was the shower- difficult to get it to a comfortable temperature. But overall a very enjoyable stay and we would return again.
