lovely cottage ,in a very convenient location, warm and clean. The owner was friendly and advised where best to park, key collection etc. one small negative, the shower hoses and taps need attention, otherwise all good.

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you very much for your feedback and we were pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Kirsty Cottage. We are particularly proud of the award we recently received from cottages.com for the standard of cleanliness. Our cottage has been almost fully booked during the summer months and we are aware of a few small maintenance issues that need addressing in the quieter months. We hope you will come back to Kirsty Cottage in Moffat again.

Lovely and clean and it was good to be so close to the shops etc. However, parking was an issue all week.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Kirsty Cottage and glad you appreciated the cleanliness, for which cottages.com gave us an award. I was concerned to hear about the parking issue as this has never really been a problem in the 15 years that we have owned the cottage. We always advise guests where to park when they contact us for arrival information. The cottage is in a town centre location and dates from around the 1740s, in a street of similar cottages, so the street was not designed with today's traffic in mind. In addition to the street where the cottage is located, there is usually space in the street behind the cottage and the main, large, free, town car park is only 200 meters away. We do hope you will return to Kirsty Cottage in the future.
