We gad a great stay at Kintail. The cottage was clean and warm. I loved its very stylish look. I would recommend and I wish to stay there again.

Great location in a quiet area with stunning view of the bay and mountains. The house is spacious, well equipped, slightly old-fashioned decor. Shop and nearest restaurant in Dornie, about 15 mins drive. Excellent base for exploring the Highlands and Skye. Ideal place for families and groups of friends. I would recommend.

Fabulous location. The cottage is in a very quiet lane only metres from a beautiful sea lock and surrounded by splendid mountains. We had amazing weather so could make the most of hiking, pony trekking, crabbing, mountain biking on Skye and our 10 year old even swam in the loch. Yes, the cottage is old fashioned but we found it very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and with plenty of space for 5 people. Just a shame that we had one week and not two. NB Towels are not included in the rental.

Although the Location of this property is fantastic we were not impressed with the cottage itself. Firstly the cottage is not detached and the view of the Loch is blocked by Connifers so any wildlife on the side of the Loch cant be seen. Everything within the cottage is dated with a very old TV that is not a flatscreen and does not have HDMI. There is a cassette player though! The only sofa is a very old and is not comfortable to sit in and evening relaxing can be quite uncomfortable. The light fitting in the back room came off the wall during our stay and although was placed back did not work again during our stay. Also the front door does not have a secure lock and could be fitted with better locks. The bathroom is very dated and the toilet back pipe is very dirty and old. The beds however are comfortable. The drying room is poor and there is no coat hooks at the front entrance. I would not stay at the property again. Also i would not look at the link given to primecottages.co.uk as this gives you false information about the cottage such as it being stated a luxury holiday cottage with free bag of coal for open fire (which is not included in your stay.
