A large, comfortable, well equipped house with plenty of room, in the heart of the New Forest. The pool is in a bubble for all weather swimming and is nice, clean and warm. Many house toys to keep the family occupied. The grandchildren also loved the swings. New Forest ponies and cows just outside the front garden. We had a great time with a BBQ some evenings.

Four of us stayed at Kingswood House about 13 years ago and chose it again for the whole family because of the location - immediately at the front of the house are the flatlands of the New Forest where the ponies roam and directly at the back through the garden gate you find yourself in the forest. We love the house as it is very spacious and with the hot tub/sauna and swimming pool there is always something to do if you just want to relax at home. The garden is lovely and secure for dogs (with permission we had three with us! NB - if your dogs tend to charge out the front door there are cattle grids and we did have one incident with one of our canines). The house is very well equipped comfortable. I did think that with only one main bathroom and one en-suite it might cause problems in the mornings with eight adults but it really wasn't an issue at all. My daughter and son-in-law did comment that the mattress in the downstairs bedroom could do with replacing as it dips badly in the middle. We had a lovely stay and hope to return. I would definitely recommend Kingswood House. Many thanks to the caretaker who was extremely helpful and informative.

We could have not picked a better place. It was ideally place for what we wanted and just right for our family to meet up. The facilities were great and we could have not wished for more. But we did have good weather as well.

Had a lovely week staying at Kingswood House on a family break. The weather was amazing so we could enjoy the lovely gardens. The master bedroom is lovely but strangely the bathroom is in the room only separated by a curtain. The other upstairs bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The downstairs double bedroom needs to be updated and the mattress is very uncomfortable. Great dining areas and comfortable lounge. Very well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend for a large group.

Response on behalf of the owner; Many thanks for your comments. As we have found the mattress in the downstairs bedroom only worked well for for one person we have now replaced it.

Good location. Excellent for the dog. Big family house, suitable for the extended family. The only criticism would be that the mattress in the downstairs bedroom requires replacement.
