Lovely warm cosy cottage in great location across the road to the beach and close to the Tarka Trail. Lots to do in the area and great eating places very close-by.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments, Kingsley Cottage has just undergone the end of season maintenance week and is all looking shiny and new again! Unfortunately, as Kingsley Cottage is an extremely popular holiday rental [we have been fully booked from 3rd March this year through to mid October] the more time-consuming maintenance work can always only be completed at the end of the season. My handyman Jerry is at every changeover to fix and mend any breakages that have occurred during the week and we do all we can to have ensure that the property is charming for each booking.

The property needs sprucing up in our opinion. Since we stayed there last time in 2012 the chairs are scratched and chipped, and need painting again - also the floor needs sanding. The easy chair looks dirty and needs cleaning. This doesn't look the same in the advertising of the property. There were, and seem to have been, issues with leakages in the bathrooms. This didn't represent good value for money this time. The location is fantastic however, and if the owners were to take a few weeks to remedy the decoration - we would indeed go back there again. Sorry to be so negative.

Perfect location. Lovely local pubs. Cottage was lovely. The welcome pack was very nice. Our only negative was it could have been cleaner and the garden could have been made as nice as the cottage. Overall it was great and we wouldn't hesitate coming back. Perfect for pets.
