I felt I'd gone back in time in this property. Happy childhood memories for some, just not me. Kitchen had lots of used condiments, felt like someone's left overs. Property needs lots of repairs - back door has broken glass - very concerning . Felt like I was visiting my grans home - lots of " stuff " in drawers and cupboards. Isle of Bute is a must to visit though.

Response on behalf of the owner. I am glad to inform you that the window has now been replaced by a plastic one. It was broken by our neighbour to help a previous tenant who had been locked out and it had then been boarded over securely until replacement was fitted.

The cottage is in a great situation. Only negatives were the decor and could have been cleaner e g the suite at the front window was a light colour and quite grubby. On the other hand the price was competitive and an upgrade would mean a price increase.
