This beautiful property offers stylish accommodation for six guests who can enjoy a lovely stroll along the nearby coastal path.

Set in historic Warfleet, just half a mile or so from the centre of Dartmouth. Built in 1819, this famous Grade II listed building has previously been a paper mill, a bakery, an outstanding brewery and, most recently, The Dartmouth Pottery. Now sensitively redeveloped, Kiln House is one of nine beautiful apartments and eight superb town houses created in the adjacent landscaped grounds. Just a minute’s walk from the South West Coastal Path leading through the woods out to the castle, and a 15-minute stroll along the riverside into town, with its many restaurants, shops and galleries.

    There were no instructions for , rubbish i,e recycling, no instructions for equipment. 1 x tv did not work. The smoke alarm was connected to the mains which is quite normal, but it kept going off. The curtain rail in bedroom opposite appartments fell down. No contact details in house as to who to contact. Do not take more than 1 x car as the builders opposite have taken all visitors spaces and became threatening when we used visitors spaces as they claim the spaces are theirs. I would go back as location is perfect.

    Response on behalf of the owner; I apologise once again, for any inconveniences these guests experienced due to some issues. Firstly, as they were aware, we were informed at the time of their stay that they had a problem with a curtain pole which is highly unusual; this was dealt with swiftly along with the replacement of a smoke alarm battery by Dartmouth Holiday Homes, who also updated contact records for their company which should have been done earlier. They also managed to get in touch with the booking agent and us as they already had these details. With regard to the parking issue, there was a guaranteed parking space for their vehicle, it was only with regard to additional visitor parking where there appeared to be a conflict with the builders of a neighbouring property, for which we have no control over nor does anyone else. The building work we believe will be finished within the next three weeks and everything will be back to normal. You were also advised there was further parking 100 metres from the house. With regard to the upstairs TV it is being replaced although having said that the guests did have use of multi room sky in reception as well as a second bedroom for their use and high speed broadband for which there were no problems. We are pleased that they liked the location and the property but we were disappointed to have received such a low score despite this.
