Very friendly owner and nice cottage. Only disappointment was lack of WiFi.

The cottage was clean and neat. However it did feel dated and without charm. the location was quite isolated, yet convenient to Kilarney. photo of house more flattering than deserved not having wifi or more tv channels was a disappointment . . . this is 2017 and no wifi is super inconvenient. It would be helpful if there were are street/traffic mirror across the road when exiting the premises by car. Although a quiet road for locals who know the location, this is pretty scary for visitors from cities. overall experience was positive and we would stay there again if opportunity presented itself.

The owner was very welcoming and gave us some helpful suggestions during our stay. The cottage was quiet and spacious downstairs; although the bedroom was snug, it was comfortable and warm and we slept well. There was a lovely private patio area for outdoor eating that we kept getting back too late to take advantage of. It's a great location for touring the Wild Atlantic way in Kerry and there are great views over Killarney and from nearby Aghadoe Heights. The only minor issue is that the fittings are getting a bit tired, but they don't affect the comfort or convenience of the cottage and certainly wouldn't put us off staying again.
