Had a very relaxing stay at Killantrae Burn, only thing that disappointed us was that the windows overlooking the shore were dirty, the owner had pointed out the difficulty in keeping them clean but I would have expected them to have been cleaned for new arrivals. Having said that we would certainly go back.

We had a fantastic time at Killantrae Burn 4. The children (4 & 5) absolutely loved it! They were completely bemused by the fact that the bedrooms were downstairs. The back garden was wonderful and practically landscaped for being right by the sea. The accommodation was great, the huge picture window gave fantastic views of the bay and we spent hours just watching the sea and weather. The beds were really comfy and we all slept really well. The village was very quiet and all the people were really friendly. We found the best beaches to be on the other side of the bay, definitely worth travelling a little way for. We would highly recommend Killantrae Burn and we have already discussed returning ourselves.

Very nice return visit back to the cottage. All was fine; a great location by the sea with wonderful views. Nice to be there for carnival week too.

The location was great and the property was pretty good, but could do with some improvements to make it excellent: Better quality kitchen utensils, in particular proper cook's knives, as the cheap Ikea ones are so flimsy they're dangerous The dormer window alcoves have really sharp edges and we both get bad bruises banging our head on them We had rejected another potential cottage because it had no wifi, which i need for work, but the wifi only worked for 1.5 days, causing me severe difficulties. if this can't be fixed its intermittent nature should be made clear in the ad

Had a fantastic week in killantrae burn 4. Views were amazing. Cottage was lovely and clean. Beds were comfortable. Only things I would change were the bedrooms need televisions.Internet didn't work for about 3 days. So maybe that needs to be addressed. If possible access to beach from cottage garden could be better. Was a bit precarious getting onto beach. The reason we booked this cottage was we thought we were right on the beach and had my dog with us who loves the sea. She managed the rocks a bit better than me !!. Advert didn't say that access to beach was limited.

Response on behalf of the owner:- BT had been working in the area and the wifi was temporarily down, this has now been resolved.
