everything anyone would need seems to be in the cottage. it is a squeeze to get beside the bed as stairs are so close, but manageable.

not much room in the bedroom. I hit my head on the stairs while trying to get beside the bed.

Had a lovely comfertable stay at Keepers Cottage. Perfect for two people and exploring the local area. The cottage is ideally located for visiting Holkam, Well by the sea, Hunstanton and Brancaster. The only downside to the cottage was a slight musty dog smell which we attributed to the cottage being pet friendly. It was very clean though. Dedicated parking space outside

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Glad you enjoyed your stay, sorry you felt the cottage had a musty dog smell. We have never had that comment before and stayed at the cottage several times and not experienced that problem. However we have passed your comments onto our cleaner to ensure it is aired properly after each use.

Keepers cottage is such a lovely little cottage. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely book again. It's stocked with everything you need so my advice would be to just take clothes and food. Has pots and pans. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Couldn't ask for more. Love that we could take our dog with us. He loves the beech.

we really enjoyed our holiday and the cottage was lovely. however,we did find it a little bit on the small side and you would have to be careful getting out of bed in a hurry in case you banged you head on the wall where it jutted out. The courtyard was tiny and we had to get dressed and go round the lanes to let our dog out for a wee. The cottage was very nice though and perfectly clean and good for a short stay. The pub was about a mile away and the fish and chip shop was closed on sunday and Monday, however there was a pizza van locally (if you like pizza). the spar shop was good to have but typical of a local shop quite expensive. The area was very good if you had a car and you wanted to travel around each day and see the different areas which we did. We loved the area and thought it was very picturesque and clean really nice. You cannot take you dog in the pub by the way so hopefully the weather good so that you can sit outside. I think overall the cottage is lovelyand tastefully done but a little small especially for a longer stay.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner. We a glad you enjoyed your holiday. We were surprised when you mentioned that Dogs were not allowed in the village pub - The Railyway Inn, as we had understood they were. We called the Railway to clarify and they are allowed in the Bar and Restaurant inside. We know that a lot of Pubs in North Norfolk do allow dogs as it is a keen dog walking area. We are also surprised about your comments for the local Spar - it is a supermarket chain and we would not call it expensive. It also has a charge-free cash point - which is also very helpful and open late and at weekends - which can be very useful.
