This cottage is in great need of modernisation and so would not stop again. beware of step into front room & the open wood stair case.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Future guests will be thinking that my cottage has suddenly changed from the comfortable, spacious, well equipped cottage reviewed by guests earlier in the year to an outdated cottage. Honestly it has not gone through a time warp. It is still as is shown in the photographs on the website. The open plan sitting room, modern kitchen and conservatory and even the staircase and step into the living room are all clearly shown. My photographs are a true representation of the cottage. I appreciate that guests have varying tastes and that is why photographs are such important aids to guests choosing their ideal cottage. I did note that this guest gave a low rating to the location and local amenities as well as the cottage. Perhaps it was never going to be a successful holiday.

Great location to explore the Cairngorm national park. Cottage was clean and cosy and had everything we needed. Local amenities extensive and within walking distance from the cottage.

Fantastic cottage for family get together . Comfortable and spacious. Lovely garden and we enjoyed watching the bats at dusk from the back door . Plenty of stunning walks from cottage . Grantown-on-Spey is a beautiful small town with great amenities . A great base to explore the highlands . We look forward to our next visit
