Perfect little cosy house for our autumb holiday. We were out and about every day, and this cottage acted as the perfect base camp.

We enjoyed our holiday based at Jo's Cottage. We are frequent visitors to the area and will be back next year. The cottage is charming however it really needs a deep clean, improved and comfortable lounge furniture and some usable clothes storage in bedroom 1. Bedroom 1 has signs of damp from the front facing wall and both bedside storage facilities need attention. The cottage has a lovely garden, unfortunately we could not enjoy it because of poor weather. Whilst the garden is charming, it does need some TLC.

Charming cottage in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and the shower was top notch. Being greeted by the donkeys every morning was delightful. Would highly recommend staying here especially if you have a dog as there are plenty of great walks. Welcome pack was a nice surprise thank you. One suggestion keep a torch handy if you need to leave the cottage at night.

Lovely looki cottage in excellent location and beautiful surroundings. However it was a bit tired and the kitchen is too small for a family of four. We appreciate its an old cottage but there is a dampness that made clean clothes smell musty once storred in the cabinets and drawers.

The cottage was right in the heart of the New Forest which was excellent for walking. Places of interest were also within a short car journey. The cottage itself was very picturesque with a fantastic garden which was sunny and secluded. We would definitely like to return to Jo's Cottage in the future.

Location was perfect and enjoyed our stay with a lovely garden. We do want to advise you however that upon arrival the cottage was not cleaned to a normal standard with hairs on carpets, in bedroom, ,tiles and cupboards around stove felt sticky. This review is no means a complaint but the person cleaning the cottage in our eyes did not do a good job, we took it upon ourselves prior leaving to clean where possible. Possible the cleaning is outsourced hence hopefully will wake up owners to make sure that cleaning is more that cleaning shower, toilet and leaving fresh towels ...... We would return to this nice cottage if we know that cleanliness is at a standard one would expect.
