With a small waterfall and pretty stream close by, the cottage offers a peaceful holiday base 400 yards from the Ring of Kerry, with lovely walks from the door and endless coves, beaches and mountains. Private access to owners hill walking area of 110 acres on Cahernageeha mountain. For star gazers, this area has been awarded the Kerry International Dark-Sky Reserve, one of the only gold tier reserves on the planet - on clear nights, the sky is simply stunning. Derrynane National Park and water sports within a mile. Caherdaniel with pubs, restaurants and equestrian centres, 2 miles. Golf 7 miles. River, lake and sea fishing locally. Boat trips to Scelligs Rock. Archaelogical and geological sites locally. Game shooting in off season. Horse riding can also be found nearby.
