Cottage was lovely, very light and airy. Had the most comfortable bed ever. Had a huge garden which my dog loved and was perfectly secure. Only problem we had was we were unable to work the oven and had to eat out every night.

Lovely cottage. Ideal location, quiet and beautiful. Village has enough amenities but is still quiet to feel like you're away from it all. We'd like to go back. Has a tennis court but we weren't told in advance and there were no rackets etc provide - shame. Would benefit from having wifi and maybe bike storage.

This was our 3rd. stay at Jackdaws and once again thoroughly enjoyed our week. Very peaceful and relaxing whatever the weather. Love the location and there are good walks right on the doorstep or within a short drive. Have already booked again for 2017.

Our 6th visit to St. Fillans staying at either Jackdaws or Plumtree Cottage (same owners) and we loved our week there as always. Great location to rest, walks with the dog, some golf.

This was one of the best week's away I have ever had! The cottage was warm and comfy. It was clean and easy to keep that way. The bed was very comfortable although a little skittish as it zipped away from me when I was trying to get in - maybe the castors need chocks on a laminate floor! and personally I could have done with another couple of pillows. Other than that it was fine and dandy. I was really pleased to see how well secured the garden was - I felt confident about letting the dog out to wander around unsupervised - he's passed the age of jumping the fence! The weather was warm and sunny so I spent a fair bit of time sitting in the garden reading and going out to walk the dog along the banks of the loch.

This was a nice cottage in a lovely location. It was very clean and well maintained. I did think that it could have been more cosy as there was little furniture in the large sitting area and the sofa was not very comfy. I know this sounds trivial but on a cold winter's night in front of the fire it is part of the charm. The kitchen would have benefited from more equipment such as glasses, cutlery etc. The shower was great and the bed very comfortable. The location is great if you want to get into the hills
