For anyone wanting a peaceful stay with lovely places to walk, breathe taking views, wildlife to observe, boats to sail, interesting local history and a super pub next door but two, go to Island View. With a view like this who would want to move far. Would not advise a place for young children to holiday,

Island View cottage has the "wow" factor. The view is superb and sitting out on the balcony(which has the sun on it for most of the day) for meals is heavenly. There are plenty of walks from the village or a short drive away and the pub near by offers a friendly welcome as do all the locals, with good food and local beers and allows dogs in the bar area and beer garden. Plenty of wildlife to be seen from the cottage and sea trips run from the harbour which is worth going on,Sea Eagles, seals,Red deer,Puffins etc. We also went on the ferry to the Isle of Mull and had the thrill of seeing a school of dolphins swimming alongside the ferry. We can highly recommend Island View for a holiday,it was a great find and I'd be amazed if anyone could find fault with it.

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage. We were very lucky with the weather so made a lot of use of the amazing deck area. Very cosy cottage with possibly the best shower we've ever used! The only minor quibble was that the cleanliness could have been better on arrival, but that was the only thing that let it down. Fantastic location and value for money. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an amazing stay.

What a find! This beautiful cottage is the perfect getaway for 2,very cosy and homely with an absolutely stunning view from the balcony. The village is very small so you need to be organised as far as food and fuel for the lovely open fire is concerned. The Oyster Bar is a mere hop, skip and a jump from the cottage and very welcoming.Sea-fari Adventures are across the street and offer an array of trips to see neighbouring islands, wildlife and the Corryvreckan whirlpool - really good value for money and great staff.A trip to Staffa and Iona is also a must.We got some great photos of dolphins who are very friendly and come right up to the boat.We had a fantastic holiday and have already booked to return next year -thank you.
