Innis Chonnel has a wonderful view overlooking Loch Awe and out to the twin peaks of Ben Cruachan. This is a very peaceful location situated just off the quiet single track road which runs along the southern length of Loch Awe - Scotland’s longest inland loch at 24 miles long. This comfortable wooden lodge sits with another 6 lodges, each with open grassy surroundings and access to over 2 acres of grounds. The open plan living area has a comfortable lounge with patio doors looking out to the stunning view which makes the room feel part of the scenery. The kitchen is neat and well equipped. The dining area also enjoys the outlook to the loch. There are three bedrooms; the main double room has en-suite facilities, the second double room has space for a travel cot, the cosy twin bedroom is ideal for children. The lodge has a large covered deck across the front with outdoor table and chairs, making it a great space to relax and enjoy the incredible panorama.
Ground Floor: The property is heated by LPG and comprises: Open plan living space:Lounge with 3pc suite, electric coal effect fire, TV 32” with Freeview, DVD, patio doors leading out onto decking with views to loch.Dining area: within lounge, wooden table and chairs. Kitchen: with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer available in external cupboard.Bedroom 1: with double bed, en-suite with WC, shower cubicle, wash basin and shaver point.Bedroom 2: with double bed.Bedroom 3: with two single beds.Bathroom with bath, shower head from taps over bath, WC, wash basin and shaving point.
All electricity included. Bed linen provided. Tea towels only available – note towels can be ordered in advance for an additional charge – payable on arrival - £10pp includes face cloth, hand & bath towels. Travel cot and highchair available by request.Decking. Open grassy shared area. Fishing rights – 2 rods - on Loch Awe with access to lochside 100 yards. Canoe/kayak can also be launched from lochside. Private water supply – certified. Off road parking for 2 cars. BT-FON wireless connection is available at the lodge (wireless signal can be access at the site for free by BT internet subscribers, or for a daily payment by non-BT subscribers).
