This holiday bungalow is situated in the delightful coastal village of Poolewe, and is just a short stroll to the banks of Loch Ewe, in the heart of Wester Ross. The cottage forms part of a small, purpose-built complex of six bungalows, each set in their own large open landscaped gardens. The cottage sleeps five in generously proportioned accommodation, with two en-suite bedrooms and a separate shower room. The main living area is open plan. Patio doors lead out onto an outdoor dining area, with lovely views across the lawned gardens. This bright bungalow provides an ideal base for touring this renowned and beautiful west coast area, with sandy beaches, magnificent mountains, wild forests and lochs. Nearby Inverewe Gardens, with its palm trees and exotic tropical plants are a testament to the mild climate this region enjoys. Horse riding, sailing, canoeing, climbing, hill walking, golf and fishing are all local pastimes. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

    Although the bungalow was clean the kitchen dining area could of been better with it being open plan when cooking it made if very hot in the main room and smelt of food being cooked also great for dogs if only it was a gated enclosed garden so they could of had a play in the garden and a bit of freedom of there own

    Lovely warm cottage in a lovely small village. No tumble dryer in the cottage and we were quickly running out of clean dry clothes as the weather meant line drying was a no go, however the owner allowed us the use of 2 driers in an outbuilding which saved the holiday. The area is very remote so grocery shopping is an issue for those that haven't been to the Highlands before. Take as much with you if you can spare the room in the car. The local shops although a little expensive will cover the basics. The surrounding area is absolutely breathtaking and the dogs loved it even if the weather was unkind. Good boots and waterproof clothing and your sorted
