This is a really nice place to stay, it is next door to the owners property. There are plenty of footpaths to walk either with or without a dog. We was looking to have long walks with the dog then go for a pub lunch /dinner but the only pub in the village is now closed. Apart from this we had a fantastic few days staying at Highlands

The pull in from High St was very steep requiring first gear and the exit was dangerous as regards visibility. Once up there the setting was pleasant. The location was some distance from any major sites of interest but, to be fair, that was our fault for choosing it. There were plenty of walks in the near vicinity and the village could be reached in 5-10 mins by foot. One shop in the village provides basics, the one pub is closed and up for sale.
