The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable and well equiped, with loads of character. I had a room downstairs which has a double bed and shower room opposite, my friends had a massive room upstairs which had 2 double beds and there was also another room with bunk beds. The lounge was very nice and comfortable and we liked the arrangement of the open bar/hatch from the kitchen into the lounge. Heating came on at set times so getting up in the morning was fine, but it was very cold during the day if you came back before the heating came on (I know we went in February but the electric fire in the lounge was hopeless) and we had no control over the heating, but it was toasty when it did come on (at 5pm). The location is really good, quiet and a nice walk to the beach. If a small part of the garden was enclosed to let dogs out it would have been a real help early morning.

cant wait to stay again, have 3 doggies who travel frequently but don't settle as well as they did here, walk to beach every morning, beautiful location. Paradise. Only downside was no Wi-Fi and had to travel to mainland for decent shop.

Our party was a group of 8 with baby, children grandma and dog. Very comfortable little cottage with local lovely walks in woodland and on the coastal path, all within walking distance of the house. We spotted a red squirrel too! All was ready when we arrived and although the building is shared with others you don't hear a thing, very pleased. Thank you

This cottage is definatly not for us, it was in need of updating it was tired old fashioned and drastically in need of a woman's touch. The bedrooms were really good and there was loads of space for us all ( 4 adults and an infant). The kitchen is dreadful no room to cook for large numbers, it looked like the cooker was new but try taking hot things out of the oven while hot pans are bubbling away, your blocked off by the oven door, it's really to small to function as a proper kitchen. The downstairs shower room had rotting wood on the door frame up to 6 inches high and the living room was not as clean as it should be. It's in a good location with a lovely walk to the beach, sorry honeysuckle but I've stayed in a lot better

This my first really mixed review, there are certain elements that are not made clear in the initial cottage description, there is a washing machine but it is shared, needs to be paid for and is tucked away with no clear instructions within the property of its location. The house is early 20th century and has an incredible history and is a listed building, some of which a neighbour imparted (it would have been nice to have had some information within the property)but it has been split into separate units some overlapping so footsteps above can be a bit disconcerting until you realise. We had problems when we realised the oven wasn't working but there is a wonderful caretaker, Vincent, who came out immediately to fix it, when it failed again we returned to the cottage the next day to a brand new cooker. The garden is shared and the walk down the lane to the beach is quite steep....certainly seems longer coming back.....the beach is huge but quite muddy in places so I'd recommend wellies, for children at least! Angelsey is fantastic lots of dog friendly beaches, trips to Puffin Island a must, crabbing off Beaumaris pier, Benllech beach is the perfect family seaside.

Honey Suckle is a lovely holiday property in an idylic setting on the Anglesey coast. The cottage will comfortably sleep up to eight people and the bedrooms are very well appointed. I stayed here with my husband and our two dogs. The only downside to this property is the kitchen. It is small , with no suitable surfaces for preparing food and would be very difficult if more than one person was in there.
