Lovely cottage, oven took a long while to cook anything and hard to shower with sloping ceiling otherwise fabulous. The local pub - Bell Inn is good too! Would stay again

Loved the cottage but location a little quiet and could not use the shower as under a sloping roof but the rest was really quaint and very cosy

A clean and comfy cottage nicely placed to visit three counties and wales. A welcome pack would have been useful ( a loaf of bread ,butter and maybe cheese) the mattress on the double bed needs replacing we could feel the springs. we would stay again as you can find fault with anything if you look hard enough.

This is a very comfortable cottage in the delightful village of Yarpole. It is excellent for dog owners as the National Trust property Croft Castle is just up the road and has many Public footpaths running through the extended grounds and one can walk for several miles. The enclosed garden is also great for dogs and pleasant for humans to sit out in. Yarpole is a delight with its volunteer run village shop and Post Office in the church and the Village Pub is great too. The only downside to this property is the shower over the bath, which is just that, no screen or curtain, you have to sit in the bath if you want a shower.

Nice and refreshing break in a charming cottage with lovely inn nearby and the possible advantage of no portable telephone coverage at all.
