We found Honeysuckle Cottage very basic. Although clean, it is let down by very basic furniture and kitchen utensils. There is a small freezer in cupboard which was unplugged when we arrived, and it would have been nice to have it turned on as normally you would food shop on your first day, which we did, and we couldn't get any frozen food . It is in a good area for travelling to Brighton, and bus stop is close by. Unfortunately, a neighbour kept parking right in front of the living room window, giving us no chance to park, and not much room to walk out front door. The garden furniture needs updating and garden needs tidying up. We did find the stairs very steep but we were warned about this at time of booking. Overall, it is fine if you are using it as a base whilst travelling and having days out, but not very relaxing if you want to stay in.

A nice little cottage on the outskirts of Brighton. Really easy access into Brighton city center. Simple but everything is in the house, good beds, only the living room a little cramped, but overall really good. Nice garden, where you can eat and relax. Nice detail, the landlady left us milk and some sweets to make a nice cup of tea.

We stayed for the second time and felt as much as home as we did the first time - and had a great time in Brighton.

If you like cosy cottages, this is for you. I've decided I prefer modern, airy places to stay, and the stairs are EXTREMELY steep. The location was fine for us as we went to Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill, so you could get straight onto the main A road easily. The location isn't great for Brighton as traffic in is slow, parking is expensive and I felt less relaxed in Brighton. The lanes are nice if you like a busy Covent Garden feel, but the back streets are dirty and just feels grubby, esp compared to Eastbourne.
