Ideally situated in the heart of the village and so close to the beach. Great kitchen and dining area leading out to a nice garden space, lounge could maybe do with an extra easy chair. Bathrooms fine, just be aware 2 of the bedrooms are rather small. Other than that a great place to stay and we intend to visit again in the future.

A perfect getaway! Lovely garden to relax in, good kitchen area comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms. Just a few steps to excellent bakery, butcher and well stocked village store. Good pubs serving food are plentiful and the ferry to Teignmouth takes just a few minuets to cross the river giving access to the many shops and the railway for excusrions without the car.

2nd visit - ideally located with that precious parking space. Managed to get last available week in holidays as it's always booked up. Lovely cottage - perfect size. Nice garden. Room to hang out beach clothes. Comfortable rooms and beds and plenty of bathrooms. We will be back again.

Really liked the cottage. Felt a lot of thought had gone into the decor and the kitchen was very well equipped. No expense had been spared as far as possible. The garden was perfect for a holiday let and we spent nearly all our time out there as the weather was excellent. Also liked the fresh herbs we could pick! Location was excellent for all the village amenities, beach and ferry to Teignmouth. Advice notices were kept to a minimum and everything was clearly explained.

We absolutely loved this cottage. It is located in the heart of Shaldon which is a place we have visited a number of times. It was very comfortable and couldn't really be improved except for adding wi fi potentially however, it was in many ways nice to switch off from the outside world for a few days. We would definitely visit again.
