The weather was fantastic for end Sept/Oct. The cottage needs several double glazed units replacing, so might be colder in winter. The tumble dryer was used once and was very noisy, and would not want to use it again. The location was very good, about 300 metres from Flamburgh lighthouse, and with excellent views. We had a good time at Home Bay and only would not go again because we do not wish to visit this part of the country again, having been there quite a few times previously.

Our second visit to this property. Accommodation suited well with ground floor for grandparents and two rooms upstairs for family with two children. Good sized garden within easy walk of lighthouse and coastal walk. Decor is dated, but it is clean & comfortable and we would certainly return again.

We have stayed here before and will probably go back. This house cant be beaten for location. The house itself has the typical features of a holiday house that let you know that the owners have never tried to sleep in a bed where the headboard squeaks, tried to cook a meal in the awkwardly planned kitchen or realized there is an issue with the way the kitchen sink drains!
