Overall a great holiday. The house was super for our party of 5 plus dog especially the kitchen. Excellent local shop, good local pub and the nearby restaurant "The Hayloft" was also quite good. The only negatives were a little disappointed that the garden was not enclosed and the lack of good walks for the dog in the immediate area. Many of course that one could drive to. Having said that the property is highly recommended as an excellent base for exploring Cornwall

The accommodation was excellent especially the kitchen it was beautiful. The location was great a lovely village everyone so friendly. It was ideally situated for all areas, the grandchildren loved the barn and the local beaches, it was ideal for my Siberian Husky

Its a far bigger living space than expected, spread out over 4 floors with a real Parisian feel. The kitchen was a good size and well equipped. The rooms were clean and featured everything we needed for a holiday. The only negative was the access. The private lane leading to the property feels narrow, with locals parking opposite entrance making entry/exit tight. (We were in a 7 seat people carrier) There's also limited turning space outside property which can be seen in the picture with the wooden table in view. The barns in the middle of a tiny village with only a spar and pub, accessed veer narrow country lanes. That said, it was quiet and locals were friendly. The real selling point for us was its positon in respect to Cornwall. We travelled east into Devon and Torquay and west as far as St Ives with no issues and it didn't take long. Looe proved to be a lovely place to visit and it's on your doorstep as well as some great beaches. Plus everywhere was dog friendly. All in all we had a great holiday.

Fantastic place to stay, with the pub and shop just up the road. Quiet location. Lots of extras included that are not normally. Holly well barn has the wow factor when you walk in. It's clean and very comfortable. Has a big TV too!

Nice cottage but the beds need an upgrade. The first floor double was as comfortable as a park bench . Also the road into the village is in itself a challenge. Would have expected that the garden shown to be attached to the property as we chose it so the dog could have had somewhere to roam.

Hollywell Barn was a wonderful base for our holiday. All four of us plus both dogs had a wonderful time. We would be very happy to make a return visit.
