The cottage overall was lovely. Upon arrival we discovered that the fire was not an open one, but it was electric, but the plug had been cut so wasnt able to be used.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner. We are pleased that this guest rated Hollyhocks Cottage 10 for cleanliness and 8 for comfort and equipment. Docking is a thriving Norfolk village with pub, fish and chip shop, village shop open 14 hours a day and post office to name just a few of its amenities. It is situated 5 miles inland but with easy access to all the major tourist spots and this is reflected in its price. Careful reading of the website shows that there is not a wood burner. Instead, we have a highly efficient oil fired central heating system which ensures that the cottage is always warm and cosy.

Lovely, quaint and comfortable cottage. Very efficiently run.

Just a lovely place to stay, so clean, quite location and well kept, excellent value for money. Not negatives in any way but the stairs would be steep for parents with young children or others with walking difficulties. Whilst the parking space is fine the entrance between the wall and the hedge could be tight for the larger car.

Lovely cottage, set in a pretty village. Close to all the main attractions. Would certainly book again.
