Had a fantastic holiday at Hollybank House, loved all the extras like the cinema room and the mood lighting in the top bathroom. Will definitely go back, no hesitation!

Hollybank House was brilliant and we had a wonderful bank holiday weekend. The bottle of Prosecco and card left by the owner for my daughter and son-in-laws wedding anniversary was a lovely touch! They had stayed in Gilcrux for their honeymoon 20 years before. We ate in the pub next door and the bistro over the road - both excellent meals. The cinema room was a quirky addition and we did enjoy an evening in there. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. The owner was vey friendly and helpful, many thanks for making our weekend a pleasurable one

A great property if you don't mind a short drive to the best Lakeland sites. Cinema room would come into it's own on wet days but kids and adults still made full use of it. One small ask - a quick review of kitchen items e.g. proper bottle opener and some jugs for water, etc.
