Loved this place. Beautiful location, peaceful, well equipped lodge and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed every minute. Plenty to do and see in the area.

Young couple having a relaxing break seeing the outdoors and the sights of Scotland. We found the cottage very clean and everything we needed was provided. The owner should not be advertising free WiFi. We had seen some reviews of the WiFi not being very good but we just assumed it was slow and intermittent. There wasn't even a network to connect to, it obviously just didn't reach to the cottage. Not that we wanted to use it much but it would have been handy to search for things to do and places to see. Although we found everything we needed the cottage did feel a little cold and damp, the bed was small and uncomfortable and the sofas weren't very comfortable either. Also the owner wasn't overly welcoming and was adamant about us not making a mess.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner The Wi-Fi is currently being worked on by the providers, upgrading the supply, until finished the signal can be weak; unfortunately this is beyond our control. With regard to the property being cold you could have put the heating on. We have not previously had any complaints about the sofa’s or bed and do feel that the comfort of these can be down to personal preference. We are sorry that you thought we were not overly welcome. You did however arrive quite late at night and left early in the morning on the day of departure.
