Very comfortable, and ideal for our young Corgi. Very close to friends in Strathpeffer so ideal for visiting. Scenery very impressive, and roads nice condition and very quiet. The early November weather was also kind to us.

This is the second time we have stayed at Holly Cottage , the first being in 2012. This is cosy , warm, spacious, very clean, full facilities and well maintained property, which is in a quiet beautiful location. Good value for money. I would stay again if the occasion arises to visit the highlands.

This is the second time we have stayed at Holly Cottage. The property is well maintained, has all the equipment that you might need (excluding wifi, which is a little annoying). It is, though, quite remote, which might not suit everyone. It does us though. The property is exceptionally well cleaned.

This is the most clean and well equiped cottage possible. Good size and everything you could think of having and more. The owners are close by if you need help. Lovely spot in the countryside with central position for access to East and West coasts of North of Scotland. Reasonably close for general supplies and take-away meals in Dingwall or Strathpeffer. Well maintained grounds with good size garden which is well contained for dog to stretch legs although there may be places for them to squeeze out if not watched. Only negative is the local midges. We packed up the car on a very wet dull morning and the midges around the house were terrible. In sunnier dry weather there was no issue, but during the season some planning is required and may not be the best place to sit outside in the evening when the sun goes down.

Wonderful location with a cottage to match. It had everything one could want and more. We will certainly return.

Having hired cottages in Scotland for many years, Holly Cottage was the freshest and cleanest cottage I have ever stayed in. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped (apart from blunt knives!). Lovely views over the hills, and the surrounding countryside is unequalled, I believe, anywhere in Scotland. The cottage has good access to Inverness and is only an hour or so from the beautiful west coast. Just word of warning though: the promised pub and restaurant 1 mile from the cottage is closed during the winter months.

In the picture the cottage looks as if it is on its own. There are other properties down the lane. On saying that it was very quiet. The cottage itself was very well maintained and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. It is definitely one to remember expecially for a piece of P&Q. Only half an hour from Inverness not to far if you want the hustle and bustle.
