Beautiful cottage, very comfortable and clean. Would definitely go again as it is also so handy for many of the local attractions, especially the north Yorkshire Moors railway. The landlady is really lovely and even prepared a Yorkshire cream tea for our arrival.

Holly cottage was spotlessly clean with everything you could need. Lovely and cosy. Alice welcomed us with lovely chocolate cake, scones and cream tea. It's in an ideal location for Dalby Forest and not to far to Whitby. Great friendly pub serving good food just around the corner too. Perfect for us!

The cottage was lovely and all the little extras were much appreciated. Alice was very welcoming with her cream tea and cake which was delicious.

There are two negatives with this property, and both have been accommodated by the Owners. No parking at property. Owner has agreed with local pub to leave car there. ( 50 yards away ) No issues there Adjacent to main road. Not a problem as the owners have fitted double glazing. Again no issue. The property is spotlessly clean, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. To coin a phrase," home from home". Will definitely rebook, next time we are planning to be in the area.
