Found the cottage quite comfortable although could be updated a bit. Flotex carpet in the kitchen area stained and should be tiled for easy cleaning also the sofa and chairs where very grubby and in need of a professional clean. In my opinion they have never been cleaned. The owner wanted to gain access into the cottage before 10 when leaving. This we didn't mind but 8.45 was a bit much so refused. In all the cottages we have been in I have never had this.

Good place to stay lots of historyand the Maynard Arms a short walk away serve excellent food, the local general store only one minute walk and have all you would need and more. Motor museum and aircraft museum very near and well worth the visit. Approximately one hours drive to Bishops Lydeard to get steam train to Minehead and about the same distance to Cheddar, all of which are also well worth seeing. So all in all a very central point for all!! Was more there than we expected and accommodation served all our needs.

We had a lovely break in Holland Cottage. There is lots of attractions within easy reach including, Longleat, Haynes Motor Museum and Yeovil Fleet Air Arm Museum, plus loads of others. The cottage itself is clean and very comfortable with a gorgeous garden , great for sitting, eating and drinking in the sun. We would highly recommmmend.
