Overall this house is great for two families/one large family. As others have said quite a lot, the property is in need of updating and that is why I have given the property such a low score on value for money. We had quite a few issues but they were dealt with very quickly. However, I do think that the bathrooms need a bit of a re-think as it's not easy having a shower when there is no holder for it above head height. The location is fantastic and we even had passers by remarking on the view up there. It is incredible how much you can see, particularly at night time. It's lovely sitting out in the garden. We were able to get to Bath and Bristol really quickly and also Cheddar and Wookey Hole. The village is a little quiet and the pub does not appear to do children's meals or much vegetarian stuff. However, there is a pub on the main road that is great for kids and vegetarians alike. There is parking for two cars - one behind the other. It didn't cause us much of a problem.

Wonderfully spacious house with breathtaking views of Bristol. We stayed there with our young children plus another family and their children and we all thought the house was a great find. Plus the two lounges meant we could have a 'kids' room and a more peaceful adult lounge! We will definitely be booking again.

Lovely cottage, great local info provided by the owner, fantastic food at the Dundry Arms which is just around the corner, and the views are beautiful by day and just as lovely by night as the lights from town look like stars! Would recommend staying here
