We had a lovely weekend away at this cottage which completely exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect with a breathtaking view of the valley at night and a quaint pub round the corner. The cottage is spacious and easily sleeps 8. The kitchen and living room are both large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Chris was easy to reach and happy to help us with any queries, kindly allowing us to stay later on our final day. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to escape city life.

No hot water to ensuite or kitchen sink. No locks on bathroom doors. Bed very uncomfortable Needs a good clean and is a bit dated inside.but could be really nice if done to a better standard

Great location for our family get together. The house suited our needs perfectly. Kitchen had enough equipment to pull together some lovely meals, but could benefit from a knife sharpener! The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable with enough hangers to actually use the wardrobes. We stayed for a long weekend in February and the house was warm and cozy. We would certainly return if heading back to this part of the world. Many thanks

Lovely holiday home just outside of Bristol. The property was in a scenic location overlooking Bristol (for NYE it was a brilliant view as we saw all the various fireworks happening across the city!) With a pub close by, it was a great location to visit Bristol, Bath and we also made a side trip to Cheddar Gorge. Spacious for even a party of 8, the only point for improvement would be to have a proper shower in the communal bathroom as currently only in the en-suite (small point as this was in the description upfront). Overall, lovely property and would recommend.
